![]() Something that I think WASN'T in the movie during this scene are the flashbacks. The next part was partially shown in the movie, with Boruto and Naruto forming a Rasengan together to finish off their opponent. This "disappearing" effect is the result of Boruto unconsciously altering the nature of his chakra to create an entirely new attack! This gives us a glimpse of the potential that Boruto holds, especially because he learned the Rasengan in a matter of days and altered his chakra natures at a young age. The disappearing Rasengan is Boruto's attempt at replicating the regular Rasengan. The one weakness of this seemingly OP villain wasn't that amazing, but the jutsu itself is in a league of it's own. The reason he couldn't do that with Boruto's Rasengan was simply because he couldn't see it. Up to this point, Momoshiki absorbed every jutsu directed at him, allowing him to repel it back at his target. Before he knew it, Momoshiki's back took a direct hit and heavily injured him. ![]() This causes Momoshiki to smirk at the sight of the jutsu, underestimating it's true potential. Before it even reaches it's target, the Rasengan disappears and fades into thin air. As you may have noticed in the movie, Boruto's Rasengan can be thrown and is unusually small. The chapter begins exactly from where we left off, when Boruto was charging up a Rasengan as their last hope to defeat Momoshiki Ĺtsutsuki.
